Marilyn is a remarkable woman who has spent her life making a difference in the lives of those around her. At 78 years old, she continues to work full time, sometimes putting in 16-hour days. Her dedication and kindness have touched so many, and she has always been there to lend a helping hand to others in need.
As Marilyn approaches her 79th birthday, we want to give her the gift of rest. She deserves the chance to retire and enjoy the peace and comfort she has earned after a lifetime of hard work. Marilyn is a daily patron of The Sho Me Diner. They help her out by gifting her a meal now and then. That has turned into a fund raiser and other people wanted to buy her a meal. Well, now we need to get the middle-aged woman some rest, so she no longer needs to work 16 hour days, or at all.
